Scope of application:
The oxygen permeability tester adopts the coulometric oxygen sensor and isobaric test principle, and is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASTM D3985 and other standards. It is suitable for oxygen permeability performance testing of films, sheets, containers and related materials in the fields of food, medicine, medical equipment, daily chemicals, photovoltaics, electronics, industrial products, etc.
Basic application: 1. Used for oxygen permeability testing of various plastic films, paper-plastic composite films, co-extruded films, aluminized films, aluminum foil composite films, glass fiber aluminum foil paper composite films and other film materials.
2. Used for oxygen permeability testing of sheet materials such as PP sheets, PVC sheets, PVDC sheets, metal foils, rubber sheets, silicon sheets, etc.
Extended application: Used for various containers or packages such as PE bottles, PET bottles, glass bottles, plastic barrels, boxes, packaging bags, capsules, and packages.

Test Principle
The processed sample is clamped on the test cavity. Oxygen or air flows on one side of the film, and high-purity nitrogen flows on the other side of the film. Oxygen molecules diffuse through the film into the high-purity nitrogen on the other side and are carried to the sensor by the flowing nitrogen. The oxygen concentration measured by the sensor is analyzed and oxygen permeability test data is issued after permeation equilibrium is reached.
