Scope of application:
Mainly used for the collection, data measurement and analysis of harmful substances in the smoke of solid material combustion. Suitable for all plastics, and can also be used for the evaluation of other materials (such as rubber, textile coverings, painted surfaces, wood and other materials). It is widely used by production plants in the plastics industry, solid material industry and scientific research and testing units. It is an essential equipment for the detection of harmful substances in the smoke of non-metallic products.
Technical parameters:
The entire instrument consists of a smoke collecting box (closed test box), a heating system, a test box, a bracket, a photometer measurement system and a smoke density test software. The circuit is developed using a single-chip microcomputer and is computer controlled. It has high technical content and stable performance.
1. The inner cavity size of the smoke collecting box: length 914±3MM, width 610±3MM, height 914±3MM, and the inner surface is coated with black matte high temperature and corrosion resistant paint.
2. Structure: Made of double-layer steel plates with built-in insulation materials, an auxiliary heating device is installed on the rear wall of the box to control the temperature in the box at the beginning of the test.
3. The box is equipped with an observation window, air inlet, smoke exhaust, gas sampling hole, pressure bottle connection and explosion-proof device.
4. Air tightness: Inject compressed air into the test box, and it takes 5 minutes to maintain a water column from 76MM to 50MM high.
5. Smoke box material: It consists of three layers, the outer layer is 1.5MM thick steel plate, high temperature electrostatic baking beige paint, the middle layer is composed of 60MM thick asbestos layer, and the inner layer is 1.2MM thick USU304# stainless steel, high temperature baking black paint.
6. Air inlet and smoke exhaust port: The air inlet is installed on the top of the smoke box, with a diameter of Φ65MM, and the smoke exhaust port is installed at the bottom on the left, with a diameter of Φ80MM. The closed and closed states are controlled by imported solenoid valves, and an exhaust fan is attached.
Heating system:
1. Radiation furnace: equidistant from the front and rear walls of the box, the furnace surface facing the right wall of the box is about 305MM, the center of the furnace surface is 195MM from the bottom of the box, the end face of the furnace mouth is 38MM from the exposed surface of the sample, and parallel to the exposed surface of the sample.
2. Radiation furnace circuit control: controlled by a thyristor voltage regulator, constant heat radiation is generated on the surface of the sample during the test, so that the average irradiance of the sample surface reaches 2.5±0.05w/cm2
3. Irradiance meter: composed of a probe, an amplifier and an output ammeter, used to calibrate the output of the radiation furnace to ensure that the test is carried out under standard irradiance.
Photometer measurement system:
It consists of power supply, silicon photocell, magnifying light-transmitting film, light gate, filter, neutral light-transmitting film, lens, optical system dark box, light source, and light window heater.

Meet the smoke performance test of plastics under the conditions specified in GB/T8323.1, GB/T8323.2, ISO 5659-2:2012, BS6401 and other standards.
